BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Community Building

August 21, 2024 @ 7:00 pm

 

 

Attending board members: Emali Porter, Jill Dzekunskas, and Mayor Dave Mueller. Absent: Julius Maes, Sid Dev, Sue Aldred.

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

Steve Blades read the oath and entered as a Village of Neponset Trustee.

 

July Board Minutes, July Treasurers’ Report, and August Invoices payable

Motion to approve Steve Blades, 2nd Jill Dzekunskas, roll call vote all ayes.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Water and Sewer – Sid Dev/Markus Chapman –Koener and Ameren will be here Monday to work on the box for Well #4. Lightning hit Well #4. We will be turning this into our insurance company.

Two grinder pumps need repaired. Parts are a month out. Possible hooking up injector pipes.

Water meter installation is taking long than planned. Each one is different. Putting in about 3 a day.

Community Events & Building Permits – Emali Porter –No Permits. Working on Halloween party.

Police & Ordinances - Sue Aldred – Jill Dzekunska motioned for the Village to pay for Hepatitis A shots for our sanitary workers, 2nd Steve Blades, roll call vote, all ayes.

Garbage & Emergency Plan – Jill Dzekunskas – Nothing to report.

Streets – Matt Benecke –Ace in The Hole will be starting to work on the streets next week.

Village Equipment – Julius Maes – Nothing to report.

Budget – Discussion on budget.
